Since joining WRc in 1988 Mark Norris has work on a range of projects from contamination of drinking water with disinfection by-products to pesticides. He now specializes in tests looking at the potential effect materials may have on the quality of drinking water mainly for regulatory approval for use in the UK and overseas. The testing ranges from simple organoleptic effects (eg odour and flavour) to determination of chemicals that may migrate from products. Mark is also the WRc-NSF safety officer.
