Mike Fielding has extensive research experience related to aspects of drinking water quality covering pesticides, disinfection by-products and organic contaminants in general. This relates to work carried out for Regulatory bodies, the Water Industry and Manufacturers in the UK, Europe and the USA. Most recent activities have included the development of a European system (test standards and regulatory framework) for approving materials and products intended for contact with drinking water. In connection with this work he chairs, or is a member of, various UK and European committees dealing with technical and regulatory matters.
