Contractor Accreditation
Contractor Accreditation is
a mandatory requirement that contractors must achieve satisfactorily to gain
accreditation and allow them to work in the UK. The requirements are
specified in Appendix A of the OR and WRc-NSF conducts accreditation and
re-accreditation in accordance with this methodology.
Lining Rig Assessment is a
mandatory requirement undertaken by contractors to ensure spray-applied
lining rig design and performance complies with the conditions of approval
specified in the OR. WRc-NSF conducts Lining Rig Assessment in accordance
with the methodology outlined in Appendix C of the OR.
Performance Audits
Performance Audits of
lining rigs are conducted at the start of a contract or when a new lining
rig is introduced on a contract. These audits are mandatory and are carried
out in accordance with Appendix C of the OR and may be conducted at the
contractor premise's or at a working site.
Routine
Surveillance Audits
Surveillance Audits are
conducted at the request of a Water Company and are principally a paperwork
audit designed to ensure that contractors are fully complying with the
appropriate requirements of the OR with respect to the maintenance of lining
records. Audits are normally conducted at regular defined intervals varying
from monthly to annually.
