Mr Peter Jackson is a principal chemist with WRc-NSF Ltd. He has over 30 years’ experience working on water quality and treatment projects. He has worked with government departments and water undertakers on methods of removal of contaminants in water and on water treatment generally. Mr Jackson is the Co‑ordinator for Water Treatment of the WHO Chemicals Working Group for the rolling revision of the drinking-water guidelines. He also has considerable experience of assessing the suitability of materials for contact with potable water. He is a member of CEN TC164/WG9, which is developing European Standards for the quality of drinking water treatment chemicals. Mr Jackson is a certified ISO 9000 Lead Auditor.
