New Materials and Drinking Water Chemistry Manager Appointed

Jim McEvoy joins WRc-NSF to take up the post of Materials and Drinking Water Chemistry Manager. Jim will have responsibility for all WRc-NSF work on materials, water chemistry and chemical analysis. This covers a wide range of areas including routine testing for manufacturers against the requirements of the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme, the Drinking Water Inspectorate, SAI Global and NSF.

Jim will also have responsibility for WRc-NSF's chemical analysis laboratory in Medmenham and for consultancy projects covering a wide range of water quality issues.

Jim worked previously at the Environment Agency before carrying out a number of research projects at Reading University. He has also managed laboratories in the Middle East.

Jim will split his time between WRc-NSF offices in Medmenham and Oakdale, so may not always be that easy to get hold of.
