New Thermostatic Mixing Valve
Rig
 WRc-NSF is pleased to announce that a new Thermostatic Mixing
Valve testing rig is presently being commissioned. The rig will
be capable to testing to D 08 as well as EN 1111, EN 1287, AS
4032 and ASSE 1017, allowing valves to be tested for the UK,
Australian and North American markets, all for WRc-NSF's
laboratory in South Wales. The rig uses state of the art heat
exchanges to reduce its water and energy consumption, reducing
the environmental impact of testing.
The
previous rig (pictured right) had been in operation for about 10 year
now and was used for the development of the D 08 standard used for
TMV3 certification. |
