WRc-NSF Increases range of Australian Tests Available

WRc-NSF is pleased to announce that following its annual audit by SAI Global it is now able to offer AS 4129 'Fittings for polyethylene (PE) pipes for pressure applications' to its customers for SAI Global Approval in Australia.

AS 4129 specifies requirements for fittings to be used with polyethylene pipe manufactured in accordance with AS/NZS 4130 or AS 2698.2. The Standard is applicable to fittings used for the conveyance of water, gas, and other fluids including compressed air.

WRc-NSF already carries out a wide range of testing on water and gas pipes to WIS, BS and EN Standards and is currently accredited by SAI Global for the following Tests:

AS/NZS 3718	‘Water supply - tap ware’.
AS/NZS 3662	‘Performance of showers for bathing’.
AS 3688	‘Water supply - metallic fittings and end connectors’.
AS 4032-1	‘Water supply - valves for the control of heated water supply temperatures - thermostatic mixing valves - materials and performance requirements’.
AS 4032-2	'Water supply - valves for the control of hot water supply temperatures - tempering valves and end-of-line temperature -actuated valves’.
AS 1357-2	‘Valves primarily for use in heated water systems - control valves’.
AS/NZS 2845-1	‘Water supply - Backflow prevention devices - materials, design and performance requirements’.
AS 1172-1	‘Water closets (WC) - pans’.
AS 1172-2	‘Water closets (WC) pans of 6/3 litre capacity, or proven equivalent - cisterns’.
AS/NZS 4020	‘Testing of products for use in contact with drinking water’.
AS/NZS 4129	‘Fittings for polyethylene (PE) pipes for pressure applications’.
