BuildCert, our Third Party Certification body is advertising its product certification services at the Healthcare Estates exhibition in the Harrogate International Centre 14th and 15th October 2008.

The team will be showcasing their two Thermostatic Mixer Valve (TMV) Schemes aimed at reducing accidental hot water scalds and fatalities in homes and healthcare facilities. These were developed with the Department of Health, manufacturers, Government and the Child Accident Prevention Trust.

BuildCert is ISO 45011 accredited by UKAS providing product certification to virtually any criteria.

BuildCert is the product certification arm of WRc-NSF providing independent third party certification of building and plumbing products to national and international standards and criteria. We can provide access to the CE Mark for products covered by harmonised European standards, as well as access to North American certifications through WRc-NSF. TMV2 approval is targeted at the domestic thermostatic sector and uses BS EN 1111 and 1287 as a basis for the thermostatic valves performance tests.> TMV3 approval is targeted at the Healthcare and Commercial thermostatic sector and uses the NHS specification D 08 as a basis for the thermostatic valves performance tests.
